This study analyzes the differences in the levels of integration achieved by national and regional economies, as well as by industries. It also studies the existence of different geographic or economic patterns of integration, and the influence of location and distance to markets on trade globalization processes. The book is accompanied by the INTEGRA database, which includes a broad level of geographical (85 countries) and temporal (1985-2007) disaggregation.
